Biography
The hand of the photographer can be quite removed from the resulting artwork in this digital age. My practice involves the use of high end digital photographic techniques combined with traditional embroidery techniques. I combine photographic images to make a record of a dream; of a place or event that does not exist or has never taken place. The results are then printed on cotton and I then hand embroider them. Little Secrets I is an exploration of the interior world that exists within each of us. We can never truly know everything about even our most intimate. There is always an inner core that remains unseen. That we do not reveal to others.
