Biography
Today we witness an uncontrollable diffusion of a phenomenon of alienation between the individual and his/her body, and therefore we can observe a deep crisis of the existential processes which allow everyone to express his/her own identity. Among the young in particular, it is as if a period of emptiness had become institutionalized, the mark of which coincides with the need to look somewhere else. In the Anglo-Saxon countries, "Gap Year" is the expression used to indicate the necessity for every young person on the point of crossing his/her "shadow-line", to give up all plans, all choices implying an existential project, and to think about oneself and understand on which basis he/she must construct his/her future.
