Biography
Simone Ascari, architect, photographer, digital artist.
Freelance, he lives in Reggio Emilia and works in Reggio Emilia, Bologna and Rimini. Mainly engaged in conservative restorations, he restored several valuable architectural complexes mainly in Emilia Romagna; he is also engaged in new buildings planning, with a special interest in the sectors of sustainable development and green building. Keen about photography and visual arts, he participated in several events and exhibitions in arts and photography. In his personal artistic research there are no more boundaries between photography and the other visual arts, moving in a field of linguistic contaminations providing strong emotional impact. In his recent works, the continuing transformation of forms in our material universe is symbolized by an expressionist “poetic of the deformation” wich becomes the symbol of this constant metamorphosis.
