Biography

Giovanni Turlà began his Modica artistic career in the late '70s. Despite having participated in several painting courses organized by qualified teachers in the city of Pavia (where she lived) can be considered self-taught. Turlà engages mainly in painting landscapes, inspired by the masters of the Impressionist movement and that of Macchiaioli. He summarizes in a simple and valuable his work, almost obsessively trying to create angles of peace and true alienation from the chaos quotidiano.Turlà is a gallery of his work at the Foundation "Giovan Pietro Grimaldi". He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, some of which are listed below.
