Biography
Ruggero Pallaoro was born in Trento on 25th December 1964. He has lived outside Italy for some years and afterwards he came back to Trentino, where he has lived in different places of this fantastic region till he settled down in a little and delicious valley, the Mòcheni valley.
His interest in wood goes back to the young age when he was sixteen years old. He had his first woodworking experience in a woodshop, thus approaching, not only the various techniques, but also the knowledge of essences, through the color, the grain, and the pleasant smell that wood often gives off.
For several years, and as self-taught he has been devoting most of his time and energy to the art of wood turning; he always looking for innovative and contemporary forms, to experiment with new techniques of carving, texture and color.
