Biography

Artist statement:

My artistic research aims to express what is visible thanks to the figurative representation, through the filter of my sensibility; and what is invisible, thanks to lines and geometrical forms, drawn with spontaneity, giving importance to the pictorial act.

Biography

Fabio Massimo Pellicano was born in Rome in 1984. He still lives and works in the Italian capital city.
He began to paint when he was 3 years old, with a particular interest for portraits. He kept on studying pictorial techniques, guided by Prof. Piero Pellicano, a member of the Roman artistic stream Gruppo 5.
He painted numerous portraits under commission, such as the portrait of Ennio Antonelli (Cardinal of Florence), the portrait of Parisi's (Prefect of Rome) niece, the portraits of Gnagnarella's and Planelli's daughters, and the portrait of Zanini's (Ambassador of Italy) daugther.
