Biography
Federico Lanaro (Mori, 1979), he received a diploma from the Art Institute Fortunato Depero in Rovereto and then continued his studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Bologna, where he graduated in 2004; after that he took part in the 19° Advanced Design University Stage Fiat (Milan, 2004). Whilst his earlier works were divided between photography and graphics, initially with a pop inclination and later with more minimalist tones, his most recent production is characterized by a pictorial turn, distinguished by flat surfaces that are imbued with chromatic and formal clarity. The whole practice is informed by a reflection on the interference of man and animal, the individual and the mass, natural and supernatural. Lately, he extended his practice to sculpture and installation and turned back to photography. He work with the gallery Studio d'Arte Raffaelli di Trento.
