Biography
I'm an artist, art-writer, educator, and blogger hailing from Philadelphia, PA. I studied Art and Archaeology at Princeton University (and photography under Emmet Gowin) and recently completed my interdisciplinary MFA at the University of Pennsylvania. Ecuador, Iceland, Italy, and in various locations throughout the United States have been the center of my photographic projects. My work has been exhibited internationally and recently I was awarded a Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship from the Toby Fund. Over the past year I have been photographing the Ban Chiang collection for the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Next year I will be an artist-in-residence at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
