A delicate balance between figurative and abstract art
While still studying at art academy in Turin, Sabina started specializing in portraits. The colours and the expressions reflected by the human eye, mirror of the many facets of our deepest, hidden thoughts, have always fascinated her. Through observation and introspection she captures the personality of the subject and transforms it into a painting with a soul.
After initially experimenting in various styles, she gradually developed her own instinctive, decisive stroke, mixing clear, strong colours on the canvas. Her artistic technique combined with her natural empathy enables her to go beyond a mere reproduction of the subject’s physical appearance to create a living work of art.
