Biography
Hans Burger (La Spezia, 1978) lives and works around the world, but based in La Spezia.
Son of Hans Johan Burger (fashion photographer, advertising, reportage, architecture), grew up in the studio of his father, playing with cameras, learning objectivesbecoming a production assistant.
"Cheating" photography in college years to be graduated in law but then returns to the straight path of the image and choose to attend the advanced course in photography at IED in Milan.
After many years of apprenticeship (the first service made ;at age 14), can claim to have gained experience and diverse skills, experimenting in different genres and styles. Italy, England, Guatemala, wherever he goes wide angle lens and camera follow him. Between 2006 and 2007, spent a year in London, working in clubs and pubs and capturing the everyday lives of passers-by, finding his reportagistic vein.
In 2010, finally, creates a new project still dedicated to social reportage: in Guatemala, roams the streets throughout the country and then visit, participating in activities, the "Mision San Martin de Porres," on Chichimula, run by father Lino Ramos, a center for orphans and children in difficulty. This experience enriches it from a human point of view and helps him to refine his style, simple, sensitive and attentive to detail.
Now operates under the auspices of his father, Hans Burger Photography Studio located in Via Vittorio Veneto No. 60 in La Spezia.
