Biography
My main interest is to describe, through photography, the depth and variety of the states of the human soul. In rare and valuable cases, the various elements of the landscape (sky, water, land, ice, clouds, ...) can be combined and shaped by the light to create unique images characterized by a strong evocative power.
Such images can be also considered "introspective landscapes" capable to depict the depth of the diverse emotional states of our soul.
My photographies are also guided by a strong romantic spirit where the human being is a fascinated spectator of the mysterious and sublime wonder of the
natural elements surrounding us. And the human being, when present in my artwork, does never play a leading role, but is only an evanescent presence. I use both analogic and digital cameras, but I am a "purist" contrary to an excessive use of software for the manipulation of digital images.
