Biography
Marco Rizzi, was born in 1968 in Venice. Self-taught painter, from 2001 he attended the Atelier Aperto in Venice which is associated with and where he specialized in various traditional and experimental techniques of engraving and enrich his training under the guidance of Nicola Sene, Elio Brombo and Sheryl Kerrigan. From 2000 he exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions in Venice, Mestre, Badoere di Morgano (TV), Preganziol (TV), Limana (BL), Verona, Udine, Turin, Florence, Washington, Bratislava. Participates annually in the group "Artista IN-Formato" organized by Venezia Viva. In 2002, with two engravings take part in the creation of the artist's book "Six paintings for Venice" published by the International Centre of Graphic Arts in Venice. A copy of the artist's book is displayed and stored in the library Panizzi in Reggio Emilia. He is one of 43 artists of Atelier Aperto who exhibit in "Journey with Marco Polo" in Washington DC in 2004. The exhibition being itinerant, traveling Europe, accompanied by its edition published by the International Centre of Graphic Arts in Venice. In 2012 he made two recordings for the Almanacco di Italia Nostra.
At Kokonton Gallery in Venice exhibits for his first solo exhibition in 2014.
