Biography

Fyodor Savintsev was born in Moscow, Russia in 1982. Education – journalist, political scientist. Fyodor started to engage photography while studying at a university. Initially Fyodor worked in news photography field - he made reportages for news agencies such as Itar-tass, Associated Press, France Press etc.
In 2006 Fyodor switched his interest to journals industry. As a freelance photographer, Fyodor carries out assignments for different world leading magazines, journals and newspapers and also realizes his own photography projects.

2002-2006 - Participation in festivals and exhibitions, organized by ITAR-TASS news agency
2004 - Prize-winner of the Press Photo Russia contest, nomination "Portrait"
2005 - Prize-winner of the Golden lens competition, nomination "Portrait"
2007 - Winner of the Tops China Festival for the photo story «Palestinian camp in Lebanon»
2008 - Personal project «Gold of Kirgizstan», partially realized in «Russian Reporter» magazine.
2010-2011 – Participant of the exhibition “Through the eyes of the Russian Reporter”.
2012 - Prize winner of the Best Photographer Award
