Biography
I'm an visual artist working with various modes of expressions and projects, such as drawing, sculpture, sound, film and television.
The recent years my works has been focusing on series of large scale sound- and video installations. Often presented in an architectural space especially built for the occasion or in a existing context like a dungeon of an old fortress or in the conventional space of an art museum. In some of these installations I use UV-painted walls and objects and mobile projectors to get an interaction with the audience.
At the moment I'm working on a sound installation for Harp Art Lab, Sweden. The lab is located at the fully restored Harplinge Windmill on the Swedish west coast. In the summer of 2012 the windmill was transformed into a "Millophone" - a self playing maschine that produce sounds from a pipeorgan. This wind driven sound installation will be the first in a series of site specific works that Harp Art Lab plan for the future.
I'm also the owner of TRUMTRUM, a company that have produced a numerous amount of fine art and underground entertainment since 1994.
The same year I founded Swedens most infamous art group, "The Für Alle Kollektive", with the artist/comedian Peter Wahlbeck. Our first record: "Music für alle" was a huge success and soon the composer Fredrik Emilson and the performance artist Micke Reuter joined the group. We then produced radioplays, teve series, ballet, opera and performance art. In 2012 the teveserie "Kalender für alle" was screened att The Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm.
