Biography

Graduating from the Venice Academy of Fine Art in 1997, Silvia Schiesaro spent the following six years in London, engaged in a variety of art projects. Her works there included various murals, painted glass and decorative panels for homes and businesses around central London. She also featured as a guest artist on the BBC's interior design program “Home Front”.

Her paintings were also shown in both collaborative and personal exhibitions in galleries across London, including the Launderdale House Society and The Works.

Silvia's Schiesaro's pieces have a surrealist influence, in particular the concept of art from the 'interior model', resulting in an immediate correspondence between the unconscious and artistic gesture through the technique of psychological automatism.

In recent years, the artist has been teaching art and design courses for various local cultural associations.
She collaborates as an illustrator with AIsli, for the magazine English 24 ( Il Sole 24) for the project "family english24".
