Biography

Marianna Vecellio is art historian, with a bachelor degree on “Contemporary Sculpture” at the "La Sapienza" University in Rome. Independent curator and art critic, she has curated numerous solo and group exhibitions including Andres Serrano's Via Crucis, WonderHolland and Vacant Community. Since 2007 she works at the Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, Rivoli - Turin for which she has curated numerous exhibitions and publications, including the Massimo Grimaldi Before The Images and monographs John McCracken, Skira and Luigi Ontani, JRP Ringier / Les presses du réel. Member of the Commissione Arte Pubblica of the City of Turin, she collaborates with various art magazines including Flash Art, Mousse Magazine, Velvet, Rodeo and Elle.
