Biography
Enrico Le Pera is a conciliator of opposites, a saboteur of languages, a post-nihilist, a paradoxical ironical artist who seeks an esthetic of CHAOS attached to some theoretical ruins (especially in this sentence).
His research trespasses into several artistic fields such as video-art, performance’s art, theater, literature. As consequence of that, it results to be difficult linking the author to a specific artistic area.
This difficulty to frame the artist’s works in a defined area is welcomed by the author himself with an undisguised smile of freedom.
Since years the author is developing a personal research about the theme of “disappearing”: such as the disappearing of the self, the disappearing of the objects of reality and all the other aspects, good and bad, that this idea of disappearing could bring. All his works could be considered parts of this research and journey.
