Biography
I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I am a painter, engraver, sculptor, digital artist, video artist, do installations and performances in his art video recordings. I have been professionally working in the Visual Arts since 1970. My biography appears for the first time in 73 at the Great Encyclopedia of Puerto Rico and is including in Who's Who in American Art,1983-90. I traveled to Russia and northern Europe in 1976. My first exhibited in New York in 1973 at the Lynn Kottler Galleries. I also showed at the former Gaymán Gallery in 1983 and at the Gallery II-RSVR in Charlesville, Va, Javo gallery, Atlanta, 1978; Ligoa Duncan Galleries, NY, 1978; Seibels Bruce & Co. I participated at the Muestra Nacional jury show organized in 1979-80 and at the 2003 exhibition held at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña in San Juan, PR. I have individually exhibited at Tibes, Ponce, in the 1989 and the 2008; Museum of Art of Ponce, Ponce, P R 1980; Cultural Bureau of and the International Affairs, Atlanta, Ga. 1977; collective annual of regional artists, Memorial Atlanta High Museum, Atlanta, Ga. 1976; Library Jose M. Lazaro, and Univ. of Puerto Rico,RP, 74.My tradigital work has been exhibited in Havana, Cuba at Centro Pablo de la Torrente Brau, 2002 and 2005 Annual Digital Art Salon. In the 2002 I exhibited collectively in the Prague, Czechoslovakia organized by SOKI of Korea. I also participates in Paris, France: at the First American Artists, Paris 1975-76; the Center of Conventions of Tokyo, Japan in 1986. I participated at the annual FATICART Video and Digital Art Festival,Italy (2005, 06- 07). My work had mostly been on mixed media. I holds a Master Degree in Drawing and Painting from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, in Ponce.
