I'm...
.. Marco Salvetti, emerging artist, lover of art in all its forms, from music to sculpture, from painting to life lived as a work of art. I was born in 1976 in Rome, where I live and work.
My love of art becomes real in an intense self-taught, and soon, however, I feel the need to investigate and compare with other painters. I approach this new world following various events, exhibitions, galleries and art spaces. I learn from books, magazines, web, and especially observing other artists.
STYLE ...
... I shun all but the painting 'static', understood as a faithful representation of reality. It happens that in picture 'plan air', but more than simple landscapes I try to evoke the striking appearance and deep, I consider my works, allegories of expression, a balance between realism and symbolism. I try to emphasize this duality framing, among the colors laid on canvas, most varied elements, often the natural ones, such as the wood, the stones, but also gauze, glass, plastic and raw yarns, so most of my works is embossed. I prefer large canvases. Do not I attempt the 'thumbnail', do not have recourse to graphics, nor do reproductions of any kind.
TECHNIQUES ...
