Biography
Born in Lille (France) in 1981, Chloe Raphaelle lives and works in Harrogate (UK) since 2004.
She started her career as a Nude Model, working for Daniel Schinasi in Nice while studying Fine Art at University. That probably was the trigger of an obsession for the human body. She then moved on to study Visual art and graduated from Leeds University where her work developed towards Pop Art. Using mixed media technique such as print making, computer modification and installations, her work will be exhibited in Harrogate in a group exhibition in 2009.
She also turned her interest to Photography for the D&AD students awards in 2007 and the Arte Laguna Prize in 2008.
Currently focused on acrylic paint and charcoal, she works from home where her time is shared with the London College of Art and her 3 young children.
