Biography
I work as an artist with three galleries in Italy (Spaziotemporaneo gallery in Milan, Weber e Weber gallery in Turin and La Fonderia in Florence, with a gallery in Barcelona (Spain) and with another gallery in Lisboa (Portugal).
Giuseppe Alletto (1993), Artist, grew up in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo, he lives in Milan.
In the past he also dedicated himself to curatorial projects and art criticism. He obtained his college degree at “Liceo Classico” (School of Humanities) with full marks and, subsequently, he graduated in Art History at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the University of Palermo with the final mark of 110 out of 110 with honors.
He presented a thesis that embraces literature, cinema and visual arts, entitled: "Kinesis, the Eleventh Muse: Gabriele D’Annunzio and Cinema".
As an Artist since 2020 he is starting to work with three galleries in Italy (Weber and Weber gallery in Turin, La Fonderia gallery in Florence and Spaziotemporaneo gallery in Milan), one in Barcelona (Mutuo Galerìa) and one in Portugal (Fabrica Braco de Prata) .
In 2019 he held a personal exhibition entitled "Buio Bianco" at the Weber and Weber gallery in Turin.
In July 2015 he shown his artworks together with the sculptor Giuseppe Agnello at the "Art Farm / Teatro Andromeda" of Lorenzo Reina (Santo Stefano Quisquina, Agrigento).
On that occasion, Giuseppe Alletto held a solo exhibition entitled "8 Works and a place: Giuseppe Alletto", with a catalog curated by Alfonso Leto.
In October 2014, his solo exhibition entitled "Voci dell’Oltre (Voice from Beyond)" was held at the "XXS Apertoalcontemporaneo" gallery in Palermo, curated by Salvo Ferlito.
In January 2013 he held an exhibition-conference at the Didactic Center of the University of Palermo.
He held the first two solo exhibitions of his career in December 2008 and May 2010 at the Municipal Library of Bagheria "Palazzo Aragona-Cutò".

An artwork of the artist has been included in the 2016 Mondadori Art Catalog, on the cover of the first issue of the new "OverArt" magazine and on the cover of the September 2012 issue of "Arte Shop Magazine".
His artworks have been presented in magazines such as Artribune, Juliet Art Magazine, "Il Giornale di Sicilia", "Balarm", "Magaze", "La Sicilia", in radio stations such as Brussellando (Italian radio in Brussels), Radio One, Radio In 102 and and in television channels such as "Tele One", "Tv 2000" and "RAI 3 Sicilia".
In 2016 he was among the finalists of the Mondadori Art Prize in the Painting section.
In 2016 he was among the finalists of the FAM Giovani Award - Fabbriche Chiaramontane (Agrigento)
In 2016 he was awarded the 2016 Racalmare Award - Leonardo Sciascia for granting the rights to use the image of one of his works for the promotional campaign of the event itself.
He is the winner of the 2012 edition of the Satura prize, for the youth section.
He is an Honorary Member of the Vesuvian International Academy of Naples.
He is a member of the Sursum association - Art, History, Territory (Bivona, Agrigento).
One of his works has become part of the collection of the "Thule Culture" Foundation of Palermo.

He developed many curatorial projects in the past.
Since 2016 he is the Director of "Scala dei Turchi White Wall" in Realmonte (Agrigento). The project, founded by Giuseppe Alletto himself with Michele Lombardo with the collaboration of Dario Orphée, consists of an outdoor park located very close to the famous Scala dei Turchi and intended to accommodate contemporary works of art. The project also includes an artist residency program in two apartments located in Realmonte.
In 2016 he worked as the Director of the "Sosta Visiva" space at Arredi Di Buono in Caltanissetta.
The space, intended to allow contemporary art to dialogue with Design, was founded by Giuseppe Alletto, Michele Lombardo and Liborio Di Buono.
In 2016 he worked as an assistant-curator at "Polline", a digital art and new media art gallery, directed by Barbara Cammarata and promoted by "Farm Cultural Park" in Favara (Agrigento). From 2015 to 2017 he was Artistic Director at the "Art Farm/ Teatro Andromeda" of Lorenzo Reina (Santo Stefano Quisquina, Agrigento).
From 2013 to 2015 he worked as organizer of cultural events at Sicilia Antiqua s.r.l.
From 2015 to 2017 he wrote articles about Culture, Art and Cinema for magazines such as "Cinema Sperimentale" (Palermo), "D'Ars" (Milan), Espoarte (Savona), "Art / Texts / Pics "(Milan)," RivistaSegno "(Pescara)," ArtsLife "(Milan)," Juliet Art Magazine "(Trieste)," Il Fascino degli intellettuali"(Milan)," LoboDiLattice "(Milan)," Frammenti"( Milan).
He took part and held conferences and lectures on topics related to contemporary art and to the relationship between art and literature or between art and immigration and Mediterranean identity.
