Biography
The Dutch photographer/ filmmaker Miloushka Bokma was born in 1971 in Curacao, at age 3 she moved to the Netherlands, Amsterdam.
In 1995 she graduated from the School of the Arts.
Miloushka Bokma has since worked on her own projects in Holland and abroad. This resulted in the following exhibitions and screenings: Soho Century Plaza Shanghai. Art Amsterdam, Reuten Gallery, Houston Center for Photography, Photography Museum Den Hague, Cicterna art gallery Moscow, Fries Museum, Reflex Art Gallery, Holland Tunnel Art Gallery, New York, Naarden photo festival, gallery of Photography Dublin, photo festival Lodz.
She is represented by Gallery Reuten, Amsterdam.
Her work is characterized by its strong narrative, always with a slightly absurd undertone.
