Biography
Betti Failla, as self-taught devoted herself to painting from an early age, learning the techniques of watercolor and then oil paint, and finally she paint using different materials to produce volume. She exhibited his first works of Art Brut in June '96 at Municipal Palace
In Monterotondo, after a graphics experience with preschool children. In the next decade remains far from the world of art for family reasons, then resuming its activities with determination artistic.
In 2010 exposes some watercolor work in a group exhibition of paintings at the gallery OAD International on Via del Corso Rome. In 2011, focuses her artistic activities on stone balance as part of Land Art and she is the promoter, coordinator and first signatory of the "Art Manifesto of Stone balance", written in six languages and presented in a public meeting in Portonovo (AN) on March 10, 2012 during an photo exhibition in which she exhibited his work. She Participated in 2012 as invitedat two international events BAWI Stone balance: in Italy (April 2012 Portonovo AN) and in Canada (Ottawa, August 2012).
She constantly is looking to grow the volumes in the paints obtaining a tridimensional work using also paper mache obtaining Paper art works, experiencing again a kind of art as meditation. She exposes its work in June 2013 at the International Graphic gallery Campioli in Monterotondo in a personal exhibition entitled "Writing, the shadow of light on white sheet", enjoying considerable success. Shee exhibited in Venice in July 2013 in a group show titled “Giardini d’opera” curated by Gallery AccorsiArte.
