Biography
My artwork is about improvising with what is available in order to make new experiences happen. I have recently been deconstructing and re-forming other people’s throw-away paintings, collaging them together with glue to make patchwork like painted-objects which I then obsessively reconfigure and re-attach onto randomly sized stretcher frames. My unusual procedures stimulate unconventional decisions and techniques, helping guide each work towards completion. Some works take months, some even years to resolve.
