Biography
My early and formal training was in India where I grew up. I spent four years in sweden soaking up the Scandinavian design sensibility and have lived in Boston MA for most of my adult life.
I am intrigued by the push and pull of seemingly opposing forces.
I use color, texture and form to explore this co-existence. I often begin with tearing one of my monoprints, rearranging and breathing new life in an old familiar image. my work pulsates with the excitement of the fragment and the whole .
My work is a reflection of my inner life and identifies harmony in a dynamic and charged world.
