Biography
Alexandra Ramirez is a contemporary artist working mainly in painting and illustration. She has developed her talent at the National Academy of Arts in Bulgaria as well as at the University of Castilla La Mancha in Spain. She is very active on both local and foreign art scene participating in many joint projects and solo shows.
For her Master degree, she started incorporating shaped canvases as art objects and painting surfaces – sharp glass shard looking shapes booming in color or portraying a story. Her style can be described as an eclectic mixture between neo-cubism, expressionism and even digital art. She plays with visual elements as colors and shapes incorporating them into imaginary and real objects. She’s an urban person who roams the streets around the world seeking for inspiration throughout the city.
