Biography

Inspired in part by Jung’s The Red Book, the panels are designed as a Postmillennial, cinematic, illuminated manuscript, combining text and images as digital ontologies with miniature detail similar to Google Maps, in which the artist tells multiple stories from personal trauma, to global narratives and Occupy Wall Street ideologies. “David & Goliath” examines revolutions and rebellion in politics and art as OWS slogans and anti-corporatism stream into art history alongside an examination of western and eastern mythologies of patricide and infanticide as metaphors for revolutions that go right, versus the ones that don’t; a commentary on our times.
