Dominique Blais
Born in 1974,
Lives and works in Paris, France.

For several years, Dominique Blais has been devoted to creating connections between the visual and sound elements of our environment. Working at the limit of what is perceptible, he explores the tenuous link between the visible and the invisible in installations which examine the connection with a place and with memory. Through subtle transpositions, Blais upsets our expectations and baffles our senses, opening them up to new perceptive possibilities.

Biography
Dominique Blais lives and works in Paris, France. He received his BFA from the Ecole des Beaux-arts de Nantes, Master of Media & Multimedia from the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers (Paris) and MA Fine Art degree course from Ecole Superieure des Beaux-arts de Marseille. After completing his studies,Dominique Blais worked as a program planner in electronic / experimental music and curator for artist-run-gallery Glassbox (Paris).
