Szymon Kobusiński
A532;Born in 1973 in Warsaw into a Polish family of artists. Passionate about portrait for years. In his works he focuses on
A532;high quality, although still relies on his sense of intuition.
Mastered his photography skills at the Leon Schiller Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz. His graduation
thesis called “Another world” was at the same time his first professional project. The exhibition took place at The
National Theatre in Warsaw. The photographs showed the magic of the underwater world and were a prelude to his
further projects on the underwater photography. He won the 1st prize at “Trendy Nokia 2004”- a competition for
professional photographers. In his awarded underwater triptych he refers to art –deco style and put the fashion revue
underwater.
His next field to write on is portrait photography that, as his works prove, provides great opportunity for meeting
interesting people i. e. representatives of culture, politics, prominent businessmen and celebrities. During his career he
had a chance to cooperate with e.g. Presidents Ryszard Kaczorowski and Lech Kaczynski. While working on a project
he always tries to keep the mind open and reveal the model's passions and emotions. The best examples of such
works are projects: “Save from oblivion”, “Ray of Life”, “Medalists” and “Passion”.
A532;His works were exhibited in the Polish Embassy in London, The Royal Lazienki in Warsaw, the Senate of Poland,
A532;Leica Gallery. “Presenting photographs for the audience cause people to share their opinions and this is a great
A532;motivational feedback for me”- he says.
He also specializes in commercial photography. He is an author of photo shots for publishers, advertising agencies,
companies and chambers e.g. Antalis, Bertelsmann Media, Budimex, Cameron McKenna, Citi Bank, Clifford Chance,
Dalkia, Diageo, Edipresse, EMI Music, Generali, Jubitom, Exklusiv Magazine Ministry of Health, Nationale
Nederlanden, Nutricia, Philips, Polpharma, Pramerica, Siemens, SPI International, Spring Association, Polish
Television, Vectra Television, Warsaw Chamber Opera.
