Biography
Carlotta Piccinini (1979), works transversally in several areas moving between video art, installation and social documentary .
Since 2007, she started focusing her work on video art, not only as artist but also as organizer of live visual events.
In 2009 she began working as production manager for LPM - Live Performers Meeting, an international meeting dedicated to live audio video performance, VJing , digital art and education in new technologies applied to art, supporting the artistic director in the organization of the festival and his contents.
In 2010 she started working for Elenfant Film as director. Today, her work as video art and documentary artist represents an area of constant experimentation, that allowed her, through the combination of them, to develop new stylistic and narrative codes and to perform in various festivals, both national and international. Her works have been shown in Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Mexico, Belarus, Brasil, Algeria and USA.
