Biography
Samantha Madonik (b. 1988, Toronto, Canada) graduated from the Glasgow School of Arts Masters of Letters in Fine Art Practice in 2012 and received her Bachelor or Fine Art Degree at York University in Toronto in 2010. Madonik works in various mediums primarily interested in video, sculpture, painting and installation. Madonik has exhibited internationally at Videoholica International Video Art Festival, Varna Bulgaria; The Glue Factory, Glasgow, Scotland; The Lume Media Centre, Helsinki Finland; Bermondsey Project Space, London, England; Transmission Gallery, Glasgow, Scotland; Palast Der Produktion, Bremen, Germany; The Gladstone Hotel, Toronto, Canada; Whippersnapper Gallery, Toronto, Canada and Gallery 1313, Toronto, Canada. Samantha Madonik is now currently living and working in Toronto, Canada and will be relocating to Glasgow in September 2013.
