Biography
Performer and choreographer born in Lausanne. Works in Lausanne and Fribourg.R32;Studied classical ballet and Modern Jazz in Lausanne and Sydney (Australie). Studied Social and Political Science in Lausanne. Political and militant engagement for 8 years, during which time she abandoned dance. Successively: special education teacher, factory worker and assistant, reception centre for refugees. // Then studied contemporary dance and oriental techniques in Lausanne and in San Francisco (USA). Studied yoga and carried out personal research on the origins of movements. Created the Compagnie fabienne berger in 1985, followed by la Fondation compagnie fabienne berger in 1989.
