ENRICO NICODEMO, IN ART DEMO`
Italian contemporary artist, painter, sculptor, stylist and Italian jeweler, of international fame.
Works that materialize in fashion, jewels and furnishings, with bags, sandals, jackets, thrones, handmade jewelry, becoming real unique collector's items.
Born in a tiny village in Sicilì, in the province of Salerno on 12/12/1966, but currently lives in Milan.
The painting is his first passion.
From an early age he devoted himself to art, constantly experimenting with various painting techniques.
Prefers oil painting with spatula, alternating sometimes with acrylics and resin.
Lover of all music, especially classical, plays the piano, guitar and composes music with friends.
Music is for him an inspiration for creating pictorial and vice versa.
Lover of air and light, using different forms of expression, ranging from realistic forms to reach a strong sign, sometimes violent, and finally to a rigorous formal control in which the feeling becomes a symbol.
In his paintings is hiding an emotion: the artist is important to be able to lead the mind beyond what the eyes see, unable to tell his zest for life, his love for the world.
Demò creates a large number of works, many of which are purchased by individuals and galleries.
His many exhibitions in Italy, but especially abroad.
Exposes, in fact, among others, in the following foreign cities: Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Paris (France), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Bratislava (Slovakia), Valletta (Malta), Belo Horizonte (Brazil), New York and Miami (United States).
José Van Roy Dali, son of the mentor of Surrealism Salvador Dali, has thus written:
The element that distinguishes the painting Demò is physical contact with the color.
Do not use cold and inanimate brushes, but materials full of creative energy, as in this case resin on Plexiglas spatula, that shape the dough color.
