Biography
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1971.
Holds a Masters degree in Biological Sciences, reached from the Institute of Anatomy of University of Parma and holds a PhD degree awarded by attending the section of Pathology of the same University. To date she works at the Department of Biosciences of the University of Parma.
For several years alongside her scientific activities, she works as a photographer and filmmaker.
The center of her personal photographic research is strongly affected by the scientific path she has achieved and above all, by the strong personal experiences she has lived.
Her works are characterized as cause for reflection on the human being and its potential pathological deviations.
