Biography
My practice mainly consists of working intuitively in photography. The solitary act of making is an important part of the realisation of the work; I consider the act of making more of an unobserved performance than solely a means to achieving a specific outcome. A lot of my work is informed by the impact contemporary popular culture (the internet; cinema; advertising) has had on photography; I address these issues as well as making observations on the fundamental problems the medium of photography has with describing the world, such as the stillness, the flatness, and the uncanny reproductive quality of images.
