Biography
Chiara Casarini lives and works in Bologna, where she studied scenografy at the Accademia di Belle Arti and where she followed the Octavia Monaco's illustration lessons. She worked as a theatral set designer and as an interior designer. Recently starts working as an illustrator and a painter, experimenting with new combinations of painting, decoration and collage and inserting unusual objects inside her works. In her paintings often there are recyclable materials; the object is used to create new volumes on the canvas and to enriched with narrative meanings the picture.
