Biography

Born in Turin, Italy, on 16.7.1978, she lived and studied in the “subalpine capital” and in Dortmund, Germany.
Of Sicilian descent, with an almost obsessive passion for the Central European culture, she loves Turin as the outgoing, welcoming and curious town, which represents an ideal link between Europe and the Mediterranean region. Since 1997 member of the “Artisti Associati Paolo Trenta” theater group, she partakes with enthusiasm in its project of a “popular theater” which makes culture closer and more accessible to the most heterogeneous audience. She currently works as forensic scientist at the University of Turin. She approached photography as a tool of communication and interpretation of reality.
Co-founder with Armando Cervetti of the collective "v-ars visualartspace", an artistic self-funded initiative created in 2011 to welcome contemporary authors who are expressing their creativity in any visual art field.
Common elements of her activities are the pleasure of listening and observing, the ambition to give light to what is unapparent at first sight.
