Biography
My art references memory, the domestic, suburbia, architecture and interior design. These topics are constructs that contribute to a societal need to manage our environment, interstitial spaces and social culture. My installations explore whether art can provide a window to our shared recollections and experiences. Inspired by hazy childhood remembrances, my sculptures are associated with imagery drawn from the periphery of the architecture of the modest family home. My methodology is to alter scale, play with abstraction and encourage the notion of the uncanny.
