Biography
Multidisciplinary artist with an exploratory, socially-engaged practice centering on issues of displacement, censorship and memory. Recent honours include the Governor General's Award in Canada for Visual and Media Art, the IDMaa Award in the U.S.A., and selected for Digifest's 2014 Digital Pioneer Award, to be received this May. "Vera Frenkel",Hatje Cantz monograph on the work was launched in Zürich on February 1st.
