Biography
FULBER’S VISIONARY UNIVERSE
Fulber (Fulvio Bernardini) was born in Trento on 29 March 1959.
He inherited the art of drawing from his father, Aramis, who pushed him to draw and paint at an early age. At the age of 18, he started a long-term collaboration with the weekly newspaper, Vita Trentina, for which he has written, drawn and published hundreds of his own elaborate comics. At the same time, he began to collaborate with the writer Mauro Blacks by illustrating dozens of children's books. Countless initiatives related to his way of drawing have characterised his experiences, including radio and television events, since the early 1980s.
One of his recent works that revisits the futurist painter, Fortunato Depero, is produced in large scale at the MART. The idea of Funny Oil ®stems from this. These are large oil canvases, the result of the study that the author has carried out on the artistic current of Pop Art that characterized the 1950s and 1960s. The artist from Trento reaffirms the idea of "revisitism" in his paintings, which marks a consolidated tradition in art history: the reworking of the paintings of great masters of all time.
