Biography
Xiaofei Yue’s practice is focused on contemporary Chinese ink and water. Her work investigates the conflict in human nature between external appearance and internal feelings, by creating collision between Chinese paint and rice paper.
She has been the recipient of the China National Scholarship (2011), first place of China Central Academy of Fine Arts MA Graduation Exhibition (2013), nomination award of the 12th China National Exhibition of Fine Arts (2014). She became the youngest member of Chinese Artist Association at the age of 25.
