Biography
I live and work in Rome. As well as carrying out my duties as production designer for National TV - RAI, I love to paint. I’ve never asked myself before painting a piece what was it exactly that I wanted to say. I always start from some strong emotion.
I started painting assiduously since I became a mother. I was invested with a true creative act and since then I haven’t been able to do without it … an unconscious act, a scream aimed at the world of childhood and adolescence, tainted by that of the adults and robbed of its purity!
I’m interested in their gazes, lost in the virtual world of a videogame, or those brimming with green sensuality.
Rage and seduction coexist in my young models, expressing themselves through a non-verbal language.
Through my paintings I feel like I reach out to my daughters in their most intimate and creative essence, finding myself and my history again.
