Biography

As a professional microscopist, studying and working in over four world class facilities in Australia and Switzerland, with certified training on 10 multi-million dollar instruments, her medium is electron microscopy. Leahs' work explores the notion of large scale iconic patterns on ironically small specimens. Her artistic endeavours in science reminds us that while our existence is so infinitesimal paralleled to that of our universe there are still more microscopic worlds to be discovered and urges us to put our world into perspective.

To date, Leah has been represented in the Australian Microanalysis and Research Facility Magazine and entered prize winning art in the ACTS Sustainability Photography Competition.
