Biography

Raised amongst canvases, colors and brushes she developed during her childhood a great sensitivity for visual arts.
After having studied art at high school, in 1993 she graduated at the Academy of Fashion and Costume of Rome. From then she pursued a career as costume designer which she abandoned from in 2000 when she decided to devote entirely herself to painting.
Lisa continues refining her figurative expressionist painting style which turns out to appear almost unknowingly symbolist. She paints predominantly women’s faces and bodies; her work interrogates and investigates human kind through the look who paints.
