Biography

I perceive my works as an extension of myself, as a “Frances-like” description of the world, people, facts, history and the culture we live in. It is daily art, breathing inside of me every day. It speaks through its voiceless language about what surrounds us, about common objects, feelings and sensations, common issues like nature, philosophy, war, our origins, our goals, raw materials… It is like a game that mixes experiences, research, images and emotions, which make and build my language day by day. It is a remake of daily objects, poor art, ready-made, Joseph Beuys, Goya, Plato, the Eighties, my cheetah print cushions, my horse and my cats, everything is art… My research uses and experiments traditional sculpture techniques (clay and stone), plastic techniques (resins), digital techniques (photography and video) and anything my mind can perceive and process.
