Biography

Anita is a Dutch artist who lives in Eindhoven, Netherlands. She expresses herself mostly through painting using oil colors and sometimes through other materials like clay, wood or glass and today also through photography..

Anita's paintings are characterized by an endless diversity of colors. They are like dancing on the canvas, they are like music compositions in colors. Her paintings were used in a theater play enhancing atmosphere. People are buying her art work to brighten up their living or working space making it special. E.g. her art was bought by the Dutch Department of Justice, by the Premonstratenser Abbey of Berne in Heeswijk and is being sold to companies as well as to private persons.

She initiated with two others SPLASH! : painters making artwork vibrant with color and action in front of the public. Since 2011 they stretched themselves to another level. Working in the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven in their special project "Connecting" they were asked by museum director Charles Esche to make a new program for the museum in 2012.

She completed the study of German Languages and Literature (secondary subjects: History of Art and French) at the University of Utrecht in 1985. Some years later she completed the study of art-therapist (Academie De Wervel/Zeist).
In 1997 she started working as a fulltime professional artist.

She took part in exhibitions and art-manifestations in Amsterdam, Antwerpen and many other places in the Netherlands and Belgium. The exhibitions are going on. She teaches in The Netherlands, Belgium or Germany.
