Biography
In 1976 the Bartoletti family published
“Operazione Arcevia” a collection of works towards a new architectural landscape.
40 years later this research and the enthusiasm of Bartoletti’s family has informed UNIT+ to create a new phase of development with some of the original values at its heart.Together with UNIT+ Collective, Operazione Arcevia, through its permanent laboratories, kicked off the project with the intent of promoting and divulging the language of contemporary art as a propelling tool for cultural growth, aggregation and innovation, demostrating how, thanks to art, any form of barrier can be overcome.
The growth of this cosmopolitan project of sensibilization towards contemporary art joins the artists' proposals with the territory, promoting as a result the development of initiatives that support young talents. The artists protagonists have different origins, age and up-bringing, representing a real exchange of cultures.
Operazione Arcevia repeats twice every year through a real call to the arts, with authentic incursions into art in the various areas of the private reserve but also in the castles of Arcevia and with a production of artworks that will go to constitute an indoor and outdoor collection, realised by artists from around the world.
Operazione Arcevia headquarters are located in the Agricultural Consortium of Loretello, already an atelier of the famous artist Roberto Coda Zabetta, that has become a creative hub for workshops dedicated to the creations of the artists involved in the project, and a space for exhibitions and events.
