Biography

After meeting the mime Isaac Alvarez I decide to drop the economic studies to  devote myself entirely to theatre art.

Once graduated from drama school I began an artistic career with one of the most influential masters of european contemporary theatre, including Pippo del Bono, the company of Fura dels Baus, Jan Fabre, Angelica Liddell, Emma Dante.

My first approach to photography was an aimed at documenting these experiences, and subsequently it became the means to capture the images and gestures of everyday life.

Today I use photography in the same way I use my body as a performer, as a tool to reinterpret reality in a poetic and evocative way.

I like to think that the people who look at my pictures will also do their own reinterpretation, with total freedom, according to their own specific sensibility. By doing so, the subject of the picture will breathe new life in the imaginary world of the observer, and will be different each time. That is the reason why I do not like to give my personal interpretation of the opera, which could somehow limit this process.
