Biography
Yvonne utilizes visual, literary and auditory means to communicate her creative stream. After graduating in Fine Art from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2009, she explored fragmentation to describe creative transformations. In July 2016, Yvonne graduated with a Masters in Fine Art Digital with Distinction from Camberwell College, the University of the Arts London. This work directed her current investigations into the role of movement as a conduit for the comprehension of kunstwollen. She is a PhD Researcher at Lancaster University.
In 2011, she founded Dendrite Works, an artist-run studio in Toronto, where she teaches foundation art and digital painting. She is part of the artist collective, RIP, which organizes pop-up art festivals in Toronto.
