Biography
I was educated at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. The Netherlands(1985-1990) (monumental design)
Before that I studied at the Free Academy in Rotterdam (1984-1985)

I live and work in Oudebildtzijl in the Netherlands. I moved the accent in my work from monumental/3 dimensional to 2 dimensional ; drawing & painting. For now my main medium is acrylic and mixed media on canvas. I think of myself as a "conceptual mixed media artist".
Inspiration I get from images and texts on television, newssites and internet. Often the work has a touch of absurdism and cynicism.
Recent Work: The series : The Four Seasons.Small work (24x30cm)/mixed media on canvas. Meant to be ongoing. Again based on whats happening all over the world right now.
